United States Most Famous President is Changing the World

Obama’s first international visit will be in Canada

In one week from now, on February 19th, Barack Obama will make his first foreign trip as president. He will be meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper for the first of his presidential visits.

This one will be a quickie, only 5 hours including lunch and a short news conference in late afternoon. Obama will also shake hands with Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff. Economy, energy and environment will be discussed as well as the faith of Canadian troops in Afghanistan. More like a courtesy visit, the trip is a practice run for Obama’s new White House team. It will allow the White House crew to get accustomed to working together in a foreign land before the seriously big trips that will be coming up this year. A lot of people will be going to Ottawa in hope to see Barack Obama in person. Since there is no public appearance planned, there should be a lot of disappointment…
